Celebrating our Leaders!

Congratulations to our 2nd Nine Weeks Leaders of the Quarter!

These leaders were nominated by their peers to be the 2nd Nine Weeks Leaders of the Quarter! We celebrate their leadership as they were recognized for their noticeable demonstration of the Pick PRIDE characteristics and 7 Habits throughout the quarter.

On December 16th, we hosted our schoolwide Spelling Bee. We proudly celebrate Felix Lin (5th Grade) for being the PES Spelling Bee winner and John Tufuor (3rd Grade) as our runner up! We also proudly celebrate each homeroom winner! Thank you students for your participation, hard work, and effort!

Reader Leaders! Students that met the Winter Reading challenge were celebrated with a Hot Cocoa Party on January 9th!

PTO News

An astronaut places clothes into a donation bin for Pick Elementary's clothing drive, January 20-23.

PTO is having a clothing drive January 20-23.

Parents and students can drop off gently used clothes from January 20th-23rd in the hamper in the front office. This is to support when spills and accidents happen at school and when other student needs may arise. We are requesting sizes 5T-adult small in male and female leggings, athletic bottoms, pants, shorts, dresses, short sleeve, and long sleeves. Thank you so much for your support!

Our next PTO Spirit Night is Tuesday, January 27th at Culver's!

PTO showers the Pick Staff with a Wellness Bar!

A table is set up with a "Winter Wellness Bar" featuring various items like tissues, lip balm, and snacks.

PES teachers and staff have been shown tremendous appreciation by the most kind and generous acts of gratitude throughout this school year! In December, teachers were treated to a delightful snack cart with gourmet cookies and many other snacks and drinks!

This past Friday, the Pick Team was treated to a Wellness Bar where they could select items from a large arrangement of self-care goodies including tea, hand sanitizer, lotion, shower steamers, Emergen-C, and many more thoughtful items! THANK YOU for these wonderful treats! We are so blessed and thankful for the outstanding family involvement, care, and support! THANK YOU, PTO!
