Winter Fun!

December Days

As we wrap up this semester, students will be taking mid-year benchmark assessments to measure learning growth for this academic semester and support instructional planning for 2nd semester. Our Leaders are working hard as we continue to master 2nd nine weeks learning objectives and engage in progress measures. We appreciate your support in having them arrive to school on time, getting plenty of rest, and continuing to implement routines to optimize learning before the winter break begins.

Our teachers are planning fun units and activities for this month. Students may enjoy these December themed dress days for comfort and fun if they choose!
A teal graphic lists 10 Days of Winter themed dress-up days.
As the weather gets colder outside, students tend to take in even more screen time. We encourage you to challenge them to balance their time with screen free activities as well. Snuggling up with a great book is always time well spent! You may enjoy some of these ideas as well.

Thank you, Pick Family!

Thank you so much for your tremendous ongoing generosity and support! It was wonderful to have so many guests in attendance at our Winter Leaderland Luncheon! We loved seeing our leaders enjoy this time together with someone special that they admire the leadership of!

Our SPACE RACE was a huge success! We are most grateful for everyone's contributions and efforts! We exceeded our goal and raised $28,753.00 to support our PTO budget and special school projects! Wow! THANK YOU! PTO will continue to share updates of the projects and items these funds will be used to support throughout the year.

AHS Winter Camp Opportunities

Choral Camp on 12/18

The Auburn Choral Company is hosting their 3rd Annual Show Choir Mini Camp on December 18th from 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM. The students will be divided into three groups – grades K-2, grades 3-5, and grade 6 - and each group will learn a song and choreography taught by members of the Auburn High School Show Choir.

This Mini Camp is designed for multiple reasons:
  1. To introduce our young students to the world of show choir and get them performing on the Auburn High School Stage.
  2. To give our students at AHS an opportunity to teach, especially for those who are interested in Music Education.
  3. To bring in the Christmas Spirit!
  4. To give Mom and Dad a little extra time for some last-minute shopping before the Holidays!

The $65 registration fee includes the camp, an Official Auburn Choral Company t-shirt, and a pizza dinner! Registration is now open, and each age group is limited to 50 students.
