Today, all of the students that registered over the weekend enjoyed their Pop Party celebration! The PES Space Race is off to wonderful start with 177 students registered! We have already raised $3,635.00! Way to go, Pick Families! Students may continue to receive sponsorship donations from family members and friends through November 20th to earn prizes. We hope to meet our school wide goal of $20,000, and we look forward to our Space Jam celebration finale on Friday, November 21st! Thank you so much for your involvement and support!

Mrs. Becky Funderburk joined the PES family in 2022. She is a fourth grade teacher and grade level leader. Becky Funderburk is an unsung hero whose consistency, kindness, and intentionality shine in everything she does. Her classroom radiates joy, warmth, and purpose. Students feel valued, capable, and cared for under her guidance because she truly knows each of them as a whole child. She skillfully balances high expectations with compassion, encouraging both academic success and personal growth.

A lifelong learner herself, Becky models curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, creating lessons that are highly engaging and meaningful. She nurtures confidence, integrity, and a love for learning in every student. Her peers describe her as collaborative, supportive, and always willing to share ideas or lend a hand. Becky makes a lasting impact on students and staff alike. She reminds everyone what exceptional teaching looks and feels like with her intentionality, strong relationships, and joy!
